Feds Have Identified a Prime Suspect for Pentagon Leak

Stars and Stripes

The FBI wants to question a 21-year-old member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard in connection with the disclosure of highly classified military documents on the Ukraine war, two people familiar with the investigation said Thursday.

FBI officials had earlier narrowed the pool of possible suspects in the leak that revealed details about internal U.S. government assessments on the war and about relations with allies. Investigators now believe that the person who led the chat group where the documents were posted is a member of the Air National Guard in Massachusetts who specializes in intelligence, according to the two people, who were not authorized to discuss an ongoing investigation publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press.

The New York Times earlier reported the FBI’s interest in the person, identified by people familiar with the matter as Jack Teixeira. More

  1. You remember when Obama arrested a 3rd rate film maker (film made fun of mohammad) said it riled muslims up and that’s what caused Benghazi deaths?? Which was a LIE !! Could this be same thing. (Katie on the 5 said this) She might be right.

  3. Is it possible that this guy is the designated fall guy for the sloppy anti American p*resident? I don’t believe anything coming from the administration or the lap dog pentagon anymore. Hopefully I am wrong in my suspicions. But I doubt it.

  4. The kid is 21 years old and he was trusted with secret information? He’s going to get 10 years for each offense, and they’ll find plenty of trumped up charges to where that kid will never see the streets of the USA again. Hope he enjoys fudge popsicles. Espionage is a big deal.

  5. Ask yourself this question: If they can identify this guy w/in days, how is it the SCOTUS leaker evades them?

I don’t trust anything coming out of the government to be truthful.

  6. Exactly how did this young Mass Air National Guardsman get access to highly classified military documents of any kind? Maybe he was hired to wash the big guy’s Corvette one weekend. Anything is possible in the bizarro world of DC and classified information.

  7. Looking like a Fahrenheit 451 mechanical hound scapegoat to me.

A 21 year old isn’t gonna get that sort of clearance.

He’ll disappear and no more will be said.

  8. All Bullshit; All the time.

If the FBI claims something – anything – it’s a fucking lie.

Probably the guy who leaked that Zelenskyy had embezzled $400 Million – with Biden, et al, full knowledge and consent – getting a slice, of course.

The FedGov is corrupt from Top to Bottom.

At 21 I had that kind of clearance. I was a Crypto maintenance technician that had a Top Secret SCI/SSBI clearance. There are only two clearances above what I had. One was a TS SCI with polygraph and the other was Yankee White, the White House clearance. I couldn’t get the Polygraph as I am part of the 2% that a polygraph comes back as inconclusive. I get nervous and it throws the results off. The Yankee White is anything to do with the Whitehouse and is given out like candy to politicians, staff, and support positions with little to no background checks unless you are in the military. I had an Interim Yankee White as a civilian when I needed to work on the satellite equipment at Camp David. After my time in the military I worked as a government contractor because I had the TS clearance. BTW the Yankee White is the only clearance that does not automatically go to inactive after 2 years of non-use.

  10. I had a Secret clearance in the AF when I was 20. I was Ground Radio Maintenance, but I was in a Combat Comm Group and had to relieve the Radio Operators when we were out in the field so I needed access to Station Authentication Tables and one time pads for encryption. Pretty bland stuff but still something we wouldn’t want in enemy hands. Plus the 10yr/$100k penalty they liked to wave around at you.

He probably didn’t need any kind of clearance to buy those documents. Chances are if you flip them over, on the backside you’ll find artwork signed by Hunter xiden!!

The kid seems to be trying to get the Biden Crimes & Lies exposed.
He Might be a hero, in the context of whistle Blowing.

I’m going to wait & see.
