Feds Propose Fix For Dying Obamacare Exchanges

A new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation expects about 1/3rd of all counties to have single insurer Obamacare exchanges this year and by 2017 “six in 10 counties could have two or fewer marketplace insurers.” Eleven states are expected to have single insurer exchanges by next year.

In response to indications that the exchanges are fading fast, the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) has offered up 14 proposals to get insurers to participate in the marketplaces again.

  1. If my wife’s employer hadn’t paid $600/mo and our family an additional $350/mo ($11,400/yr) I couldn’t have gotten a thumb Xray last week for $160 plus $25 copay. It would have been $325 with no copay otherwise. It’s the only time in over 5 years any of us have been to a doctor. Savings!!

  2. I can remember paying (before zerocare) 8,900 per year for healthcare. Coverage included dental. Co-pay was $15, meds were $20. (I got more insulin than the insurance allowed at the time, so I got penalized an extra $10)

Now? Just asking about insurance will cost me $780 a month for shit coverage plus no discounts on prescriptions. So either I buy health insurance or I buy my prescriptions.
    Fuckyou0bamaandthedemsyourodeinwith.

  3. I’m sure they want to steal another 700 billion dollars from Medicare
to prop up his POS “healthcare” again. Why not? It worked the first time. AARP loved this thievery.
