FEEL GOOD CLIMATE STORY OF THE DAY

Powerline:

Prepare to make your morning coffee with the tears of climatistas:

Ice core samples melt in freezer malfunction

Important ice samples from the Canadian Arctic were lost earlier this month when a freezer malfunctioned in a University of Alberta lab.

The loss of the millennia-old ice cores could throw a wrench into research about how atmospheric changes have affected the climate and how they could affect the Earth’s future.

The April 2 failure at the Canadian Ice Core Archive melted 180 cylindrical samples collected by government scientists since the mid-1970s, said archive director Martin Sharp. The lost pieces accounted for about 12 percent of the entire collection.

  1. I hear the electricity failed because all the climate scammers went to a UN conference in Bali and there wasn’t enough crap deposited in the university methane-generating sewage system to power everything and they simply had to have the lights on in the safe spaces so the snowflakes could see to stay within the lines of their coloring books so they turned off the freezer.

  2. Carbon dioxide can leach from ice like oil can leach from rock. Measurements today may not be what they were millions of years ago. Stop wasting our money. The planet is stable. It’s the alarmists that are not. Fix them.

  3. Stored ice cores exposed to the atmospheric conditions that exist today are corrupted in a few months anyway.

Core it, slice it, bottle the slices under helium and let them melt in the ampule.

But that’s a lot of bother and trouble if you already know your answer.
