The days gradually get longer going forward. That’s a good thing. Too much darkness this time of year. I hate it.
I am always amazed at God’s design of his creatures and how they can handle the cold with their winter coats. I’m with PHenry – very glad that the days will start getting a little longer now. Thanks for a great collection Claudia…but it makes me chilly! 😀
I cannot imagine how these critters
survive the cold.Amazing!
You always find a clever theme for the Sunday Critters! Love it! Thank you, as always.
I love fall and winter! Spring and summer are too busy and warm for me. Most of the animals in pics are in their element. The little fox seems to have an eye injury, though. Things can get rough in the animal kingdom, even so, very nice selections, Claudia.
A fat cardinal was in my burning bush this morning just as dawn broke, it was below 0. He was skillfully eating the red berries with little movement and I had an up close look from the window. Beautifully amazing!
14 F when I awoke this morning.
Deer, bunnies, birds, crows, and feral cat – everybody waiting patiently for breakfast. Geese and chickens – not so patient.
Thank you, Claudia.
“BRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr”
Poor little bird. I felt like that yesterday.
Those animals are all a lot tougher than I am. I think it’s time for a cup of coffee and a donut.
These are wonderful. That cougar has a ‘why me Lord?’ look on his face.
An odd quirk of how and when the sun rises & sets is that the sun sets the earliest at 16:55 CST from Dec 3 -> Dec 10. ( at a location near Kansas City) While the Sunrises there over the same period 7:22 -> 7:28.
Sun rise continues to be later and later for a few weeks. With latest Sunrise at 7:39 from Jan 5 -> Jan 9th. With Sunrise only starting to be earlier at 7:38 on Jan 10th.
