1) Bayouwulf (Penny and Ernie) This picture was taken late January, 2021 on the Foothills Pkwy, looking towards the Smoky Mountains. The highest point on the range is most likely Climgmans Dome but, I can’t be sure. Penny and Ernie fidgeted for a while before I could get this shot yet, it turned out perfectly.

Thank you, contributors!
Looks like number 2 lives in the same neck of the woods as I do.
Imagine what’s going on in the heads of those two dogs. Think about all the new smells they are experiencing that the breeze is providing there on the mountain top. I bet it’s like a human wandering through a department store and browsing through all the merchandise.
I wonder what that cat is thinking while watching that squirrel.
“Nah, not today…”
Nice collection!
Great way to start the week.
Thanks, Claudia!
I am looking forward to the first day of Winter as the nights slowly start to get shorter and the dark days of 8 and a half hour days of December become longer.
@Jethro, I doubt those two rascals had any cogent thoughts about their surroundings. They were probably annoyed at me for making them stand on this boulder, next to the parking lot! LOL!
Thanks for giving P & E some screen time, Claudia! This picture became my Christmas card.
Some beautiful shots! 🙂

Happy Sunday, everybody!
Jethro – Actually, Nissa and Annie were friends. I raised Annie and her brother, Rush from babies and released them to the wild when ready. Rush took off after a month or so, but Annie hung around the yard for many years raising families of her own.
Critter Sundays maybe coming to a close on this Sunday evening, but great pictures as always 😉
Thanks Claudia
