  1. Probably all the feedback was from non customers.
Just another case of liberals doing what their religious leaders tell them and attacking a company for daring to do business with people who don’t share their own stupid views.

Enterprise and this bank will most likely quietly cave in the next few weeks or months after sales tank.

  2. Credit cards and rental cars were never part of the founding father’s vision regarding the second amendment. That’s the problem many pro-2A people have with the NRA. NRA seems to have lost their focus.

  3. Customer service: 1 (800) 642-0014

I will be calling them to let them that I will never do business with a company that runs in fear from those who would deny us our 2nd Amendment.

  4. NRA members as well as any gun owners (or supporters of the Constitution) ought to apply for a card at a different bank (after being assured that the new bank won’t drop any affiliation with the NRA) then upon receipt cancel the Omaha card, move any accounts to the new bank including mortgages assuming you get as good as or better deal and close everything with Omaha. Write a letter to the President of the bank explaining why you felt that your actions were necessary in light of their statements and actions. It’s a lot of work on behalf of everyone involved but would send a clear message to those companies who submit to a few phone calls. Imagine 25% of your customers disappearing in a month then imagine a new Bank President.

  5. mixing business and politics never works out well for anyone. First national of Omaha will soon be made acutely aware of this.
If it wasn’t for all these liberal idiots trying to reinterpret the second amendment there would be no need for organizations such a the NRA. As it is I strongly support gun rights but I do get tired of Mr. LaPierre asking me for more money every week.

  6. Now, SimpliSafe has dropped their association with the NRA as well as Enterprise (as mentioned above). It is never good to be a company and get involved in politics. Some idiot stated that this will be less money for the NRA??!! So stupid.

  7. But they’ll try to keep the NRA members as customers. They’ll just issue new cards without the NRA insignia and without the points and discount programs but they’ll keep the customers. Count on it. If they were REALLY serious they would close the accounts of the all of the NRA customers as well.

  8. The Target/Macy’s/Kellogg’s school of business stupidity strikes again.

The CEO probably got an earful at breakfast from Wifey because Facebook says the NRA tortures baby kittens.

The NRA has 5 million paid members. All solidly middle class folk with steady jobs and established FICOs.
Any bank would salivate at that kind of prescreened VISA market. They’ll have no problem signing a new vendor at same or better terms.

The only loser here is the current vendor. After the rush of knee jerk virtue signaling fades they will likely try to quietly recant.
    LaPierre shouldn’t let them.

  9. Libs: Greedy Banks are evil and caused the recession and steal money from people.

Same Libs: I’ll support a bank that freezes those people’s assets and infringes on a legal 230 year old civil right.

Libs: Businesses can’t just deny service to people because their beliefs are different on gay marriage and a right we made up 4 years ago.

Same Libs: I will move one of my many Swiss bank accounts to you if you deny service to those people over there.

Reality: 10 twitter bots make a bank commit seppuku on their own. It hurts gun owners and the bank gets a blowback boycott. Win-Win!

  10. I didn’t renew my NRA membership many years ago because they foolishly endorsed a democrat for national office in my deep blue state (did they not know how the enemy plays party politics with safe seat votes?).

I signed up for a new membership today.

I do hope though that the NRA leadership realizes that an endorsement of any democrat, anywhere, is against our interests, every time.

  11. Visa will be more than happy to sign you up at your local CREDIT UNION get with it! Patooie on em all.
My credit union called me when someone hacked my visa and removed everything that wasn’t mine. Also the give cash Back at the end of the year for having savings in the account.

  12. FNB Omaha comes out of the closet. Publicly confessing it has always supported the indoctrination propaganda education system in America. Promoting poor think is their friend.

” After all if people were educated well. Would they take out high interest low monthly payment loans?” A bank spokeswoman asked, “Hell no they wouldn’t. They’d Spotlight our bank as hustlers and conpersons right off. Supporting illogical thinking in the masses helps the bank shear the sheep, if you know what I’m saying.” Wink, wink.

  13. I rented from Enterprise just this week and they were my preferred rental car company. I just informed them that I have terminated our relationship.

The founder of the company was a WWII vet and the company is named after the aircraft carrier. I doubt the old man would be pleased with these pussies.

  14. Well, it’s nice to know the companies that think the US Constitution is nothing but a piece of paper with no meaning.
I wonder if they will feel the same way when someone tells them the contract they signed has no meaning because it’s just a piece of paper with words on it and it hurts their feelings and they disagree with it?
