First on the Chopping Block, Department of Education

ABC News

Trump’s Agenda47 campaign proposed eliminating the Department of Education — which, according to the DOE website, “establishes policy for, administers and coordinates most federal assistance to education.”

The DOE, established by President Jimmy Carter, provides programs such as Title I funding for low-achieving or high-poverty K-12 schools in need of support, as well as Pell Grants for undergraduate students in high financial need. More

  1. …yes, but do the FDA/CDC/NIAID FIRST, before they literally kill us ALL.

And hang that mass murdering twerp Fauci first, AS PER EXISTING NURENBERG LAWS.

    But not last.

    Nowhere NEAR last.

Say “NEVER AGAIN” as we did after the LAST time tyranny used medical experiments against its own people for political reasons.

    …but this time, MEAN it…

  2. Most government agencies can go bye-bye.

The FBI should be reduced to a national crime lab that assists the states. Get rid of the armed agents.

Keep the DOJ and the AG, but they should basically serve as the Supreme Court’s clerks.

That’s a good start but I’ll come up with more.

  4. bring back the waste, fraud, abuse bounty program and watch this shit clear up fast. used to be a bounty of 1% of the $ that got cleared up when waste fraud or abuse got identified and eliminated. they don’t really do that now. I could probably retire inside of 60 days if this came back.

  5. Some people on X were whinning about Trump wanting to eliminate the Department of Education. This was my response to them:

Nothing is going to happen to each state’s department of Education. They will be totally responsible for your state and you no longer have to send money to the Federal government DOE to then have them turn around and give you back just a little piece of your money for your students.

It wasn’t until May 4, 1980 that the Federal Department of Education began. When that bloated, unnecessary agency is eliminated, the power goes back to the states like it always was intended to be.

Then each state has total control of their education of their citizens. No unaccounted Federal agency will force them to teach your children what you don’t approve of at the state level.

  6. Hmmmmmm.
Before 1980 the USA had one of the highest student aptitude levels in the world.
Forty+ years later and we suck!
Eliminate the Dept of Education. Either they are completely useless in their role or they are complicit in the decline.
While your are at it, eliminate the Dept. of Energy too!
