Truth Revolt: There’s a literal shit storm brewing in Washington D.C. after reported comments from President Trump saying he doesn’t want the United States to absorb too many immigrants from “shithole countries” like Haiti and Africa. Democrats are reeling and are now boasting that they were right all along: Trump is a racist.
But the Left is plagued with short-term memories, because the late Ted Kennedy once said something very similar. Drudge Report linked to a 2015 Breitbart article centered on Kennedy’s terrible 50-year legacy of “ruinous immigration law.” But there’s one particular passage that stands out. It’s what Kennedy said back in 1965 about the Immigration and Nationality Act:
“First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains substantially the same…
“Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset… Contrary to the charges in some quarters, [the bill] will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia…
“The bill will not flood our cities with immigrants. It will not upset the ethnic mix of our society. It will not relax the standards of admission. It will not cause American workers to lose their jobs.”

Significantly reduce immigration, stream line the process to deport illegals, eliminate DACA, eliminate the so called immigration lottery, while simultaneously building the wall.
