The Miami Herald reports Sireci’s live-in girlfriend said she came home from work to find him drunk and on the living room floor; an argument followed and she left with her daughter to go to another home.
She said the 47-year-old went with them and “continued to drink and be belligerent,” per the affidavit. When they headed home, she says Sireci gave her a wet willy by wetting his finger and sticking it in her ear and that the “belligerent” behavior continued. The responding deputy noted that Sireci said he was not drunk. He has been released on $2,500 bond.
“Florida Man…” is really all that’s necessary.
Been there, done that. It was in response to a wicked Melvin which my only response was a projectile “Ralph”ing. Fortunately I was released, before and after the charges. Still have the scars,,

Something we noticed when we moved to North Carolina some years ago, there is a streak of casual dishonesty in a lot of people there, alongside a surface friendliness (hypocrisy). They lie easily. Not everyone but it was noticeable everywhere. Never got used to that.
Florida people have their issues but that doesn’t yet appear to be one of them…such a broad mix I’m still figuring out the baseline. One thing is, they either like you or don’t right off the bat, or take a little while to warm up to you. But that insufferable New Jersey/New Yawk arrogance seems to be missing.
LOL @ Aaron Burr, here that’s pretty much our stance as well. I don’t know if it still airs but we used to have a radio game show called “It Happened in Florida.”
Two guessing games popular in Alaska: 1: right after an earthquake people bet on its Richter scale and 2: when something super weird, silly, odd, bizarre is reported we guess where it happened, and it’s usually Florida.
Florida is the third most populated state. Most of the oddball news reports many find so enjoyable and take little digs at are committed by people that migrated here from states who’s people are making the comments.
