WASHINGTON– The US Attorney’s office for the District has charged Brennen Sermon, 27 of Orlando Florida with assault for an attack on a DC police officer following the end of the Republican National Convention.
The Metropolitan Police officer was helping to escort Kentucky Senator Rand Paul from the White House when Paul was confronted by what he called an “angry mob”. more
“If convicted, Sermon faces a maximum sentence of 180 days in prison and a $1,000.00. He was arraigned and has since been released on his personal recognizance.”
Doesn’t sound like this is being taken very seriously, probably the kind of thing that has the charges dropped or a meaningless sentence given as soon as it is gone from the public consciousness.
Maybe I’m wrong.
Florida Man strikes again!
🙂
Looked all over the web, including DOJ, but no mug shot.
Why? I want to see what the creep looks like.
I will keep looking.
VV,
Thinking the same.
What IS it about Florida?
Florida may be like California, a land of fruits and nuts.
If I was Rand, I’d hire an ex Navy Seal as a body guard.
We all know a Florida man.
It’s just the Florida part that changes.
Mr Sermon has a muzzie beard. I refuse to believe a good Muslim boy would travel from Orlando to commit violence. It’s against his religion.
Perhaps he submitted his expense report to the Soros Foundation as a trip to Mecca for Haaj.
Has George Soros surpassed the federal govt as the largest employer?
What? He’s not a resident of Washington D.C.?
Let me guess, he just happened to be visiting the city with no specific plans on what to do while there, completely unaware of the activities planned in the nation’s capitol city that week. And didn’t du nuffin.
Yeah, right. And Nancy Pelosi was setup, tricked into not wearing a mask, while getting her hairdo, too.
Still can’t find his mug shot.
