Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban relented Wednesday and the national anthem will be played before home games this season after the NBA reiterated its “longstanding league policy” to include the song.
The league’s initial reaction to Cuban’s decision was to say teams were free to conduct pregame activities as they wished with the unusual circumstances created by the coronavirus pandemic. Most teams don’t have fans at home games.
But the NBA abruptly reversed course with Cuban’s decision reverberating around the country, including a question put to White House press secretary Jen Psaki during her daily briefing. I wonder if they, the NBA, did it because it would deny their players a chance to show disrespect for our nation?

Maybe the NBA meant that they must play the Chi-Com National anthem.
My fantasy: NBA (and all other pro sports leagues) will implement the following new regulations:
— National Anthem to be played immediately after team introductions
— Team members and staff will stand quietly at attention during playing of Anthem
— Team members and staff will not perform any type of demonstration during playing of Anthem. First offense punishable by one month suspension, second offense by suspension for remainder of season, third offense by permanent expulsion from League.
— No form of demonstration will be permitted by game attendees. Any organized demonstration by attendees will be punished by home team forfeiting the game. Isolated demonstrators will be ejected from venue.
…but I’m unlikely to tune in anyway.

I was hoping the Negro Basketball Association would ban the National Anthem so the final nail can be nailed into their future money making schemes. Those players that got a free college education that they threw away, will find themselves either dead, in prison, living back in the ghetto. There’s no longer personal responsibility, it’s all about living off of other people’s money for that group. I mean come on Gorilla Glue to nail down your hair? Then begging others for their money to fix it. LMAO! BTW, I’m sick of the racists commercials – can’t seem to get away from it.

Wild guess, the percentage of patriots in the NBA is double the number in the Xiden administration.
