AutoForecast Solutions report that last ICE Mustang [Internal Combustion Engine] begins production in March 2023 as a 2024 model—a similar timeline for the departing Dodge Challenger and Charger. The Mustang Mach-E, which is sold out for the 2022 model year, easily offsets the ICE Mustang’s carbon emissions, so there’s no need for a hybrid. More

Rots a ruck with dat one Ford!!
Shoving it down our throats.
Never
If we keep this up, we’ll look like Cuba in about 10 years.
This is total bullshit. Do they actually think people who are losing everything thanks to democrats will buy a $50,000+ electric car?
Someone PLEASE figure out how to stop these government psychos before it’s too late. Then bring back the one and only Mustang.
I hope these idiots end up with lots of EVs that they can’t give away.
It’s not about the climate, it’s about control, and restricting our freedom to move around when we want. How are they going to recharge all this crap? Infrastructure can’t handle it, can’t generate electricity anymore with coal, natural gas, hydro, or nuclear. So what happens when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow? Idiots.
The auto industry in there effort to apease the “greenies” are over running the ability of the utility companies to expand and strengthen the necessary infrastructure to support “all EVs all the time”. We’re going to end up limited to short trips around the city and dependency on air travel, bus travel and train travel for distances.
The world has gone mad, and gone also is critical thinking. It’s all about the emotions and feelings. And with the woke corporate globalist oligarchs it’s all about their arrogance to force an unwilling population to bend to their will. I will celebrate when the automakers either go bankrupt or eat crow and give the people what they really want.
Based on the previous article about the fire hazard of electric cars, Ford can relive the glory days of the exploding Pintos and Explorers (Exploders).
Remember their brilliant idea to replace the Mustang with the Probe? Changed their mind quickly after customer input.
The EPA tells the car companies what they can build and sell. Been going on for years now. Only crashing into the brick wall of reality will stop it, range is too short and there is nowhere to charge the thing.
Brick wall is approaching fast.

Obama’s third term is playing hardball with everyone. They are determined to realize their agenda, especially after a four year delay.
If they can shut down manufacture of ICEs and production of fossil fuels, they know it will be very difficult to restart, even if policies change again. It’s more or less a scorched earth policy (accidental pun).
I am 70 yrs old and will NEVER buy an EV. Having too much fun with occasional rides in my muscle car.

It’s all part of the plan to get rid of consumers so the elites have more to consume for themselves.
Greed; a drug so powerful you’d kill everyone for it.
It’s not about “Going Green” – it’s about “Going Without.”

I just watched this and felt it was appropriate to the discussion:

It looks like Ford is going for more Edsel’s.
Beam me up, if you’re spending $50k on an ev you’re buying it used.
I am looking forward to the outrage and complaining in 5 yrs when batteries for these things start to fail and the owners are looking at $15k plus to replace them.
They’ll probably sell them.
The used car market for ev’s will be overstocked.
EVs are for Golf Balls and Goof Balls!
Expect the value of REAL Mustangs to keep going up on Mecum, Hemmings, & Barrett-Jackson! Ditto for Challengers & Chargers! Heterosexual men don’t want coal-fired shitbox imitations!
The only coal fired vehicle I’ll accept is a Challenger locomotive …
Because aluminum truck beds turned out to be such a great idea, huh Ferd?
