Former FBI Official: Halting Immigration is ‘Not Who We Are,’ Americans Must ‘Adjust’ to Terrorism

Breitbart: A former official with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says Americans will have to “adjust” to a new country where terrorism is routine because halting immigration is “not who we are.”

Former Assistant Director for Counterintelligence at the FBI C. Frank Figliuzzi writes in a piece for NBC News that terrorism in the United States is changing quickly to a strategy where terrorism is merely mitigated and contained.

Rather than halting immigration from particularly dangerous and terrorist-sanctioned regions of the world, Figliuzzi says Americans may have to change the way they live, noting how Americans in the car rental business and hotel industry are now subject to “rigorous training” on terrorism-related issues.

But just as officials are adjusting their perspective, it may be time for the public to adjust as well. Terrorism task forces around the nation already have rigorous training and awareness programs for truck rental personnel, hotel staff, and a host of other groups who may find themselves suddenly on the front lines of our war against terror. If we cling to the old view that any successful attack represents a counterterrorism failure, we must also be ready to accept a new way of life. Do we want to view anyone from a different country, with a different set of beliefs, as no longer welcome here?

While Figliuzzi admits that it’s Americans who will have to suffer, he argues that current legal immigration — whereby more than one million foreign nationals enter the U.S. every year — trends must continue, no matter if they might expose Americans to more terrorist threats.

  1. So… who are we? Cannon fodder? Sheep, being led to the slaughter? Victims? Or are we just all Democrats now?

Ted Kennedy’s immigration act is what started this whole mess. So that they could replenish diminishing Democrat numbers. I wish we could get some movement behind repealing Ted Kennedy’s immigration act. That would do massive amounts of good in turning around this nightmare we are being forced into.

If we really want to emulate the Middle East?

  2. “Do we want to view anyone from a different country, with a different set of beliefs, as no longer welcome here?”
Yes, if that’s what it takes to stop terrorism.
Yes, if those ‘beliefs’ include killing anyone who doesn’t agree with their ‘beliefs’.
But, Mr. Bureaucrat, if you really think that’s OK, then you first.

  3. First of all what the hell is a Figliuzzi and secondly how the hell did a Figliuzzi get into an important job in the government and thirdly why do allow a Figiluzzi the authority to set us up for continued and continual acts of terrorism?

  4. But you really know that General McAuliffe really politely meant to say was either Go to Hell or Fuck off. And it worked, we’re also getting close to the 73rd anniversary of the start of the Battle of the Bulge in Dec. 1944 when he told the Krauts this when they tried to get the US Army and particularly the 101st Airborne to surrender. Every year about this time I break out my DVD’s of The Band Of Brothers and watch the episodes with the Battle Of The Bulge in it.

  5. This guy Figliuzzi wants us to get acclimated to barbarism, no matter what its form. Random Terrorism is just the first step.
What’s the next step — we should get used to honor killings, beheadings, 500 asses stuck up on the street corners 5x per day? For me, that last one looks like a collective F.U. to people and to God.

  6. He is correct. And he is surprising honest. He only wobbles a bit conflating two different nouns, as interchangeable adjectives. They usually are. But they need not be.

“United States citizens” will adapt to imported terrorism killing them, their children, their pets, and (what’s left of) their dreams of the imaginary “Golden Age”. They’ll even give up their dreams of the “Silver Age”. They will, for the most part, relinquish these freely. And they will cheer when the bitter clingers amongst them are culled (with “extreme prejudice”).

However, “United States citizens” are not “Americans”. And while “past results do not ensure future returns”, it seems reliable, now, that Americans will, also, prefer to be killed as loyal citizens, rather than culled as bitter clingers. But, for “Americans” who decide they are not “United States citizens”, the Progress™ of The United States Government is important in the way the Progress™ of the Canadian and Mexican governments are important.

  7. Adjust to islam, honor killings, perversion, decapitations, rape, bombings, female submission, killing gays, female mutilation, acid attacks, muslim drivers driving through crowds and burkas.

After all adjusting worked for blacks, gays, mexicans, central and south americans, somalians, iraqis and other muslims to receive preferential treatment and government subsidies.

  8. Hey Frank, you are the reason why we have not won yet. How about we deport ALL illegal aliens and halt all muslim immigration?

It would make us tremendously safer from the drug trade and terrorists.

I think we should rescind your citizenship which you disregard anyway and deport you to an islamic hellhole.

  9. Too bad we don’t have a representative republic where we the voters get to put into office leaders who will respect OUR notion of “who we are.” Too bad our country is run by an entrenched bureaucracy.

  10. “Who we are” is a patient good people who are increasingly getting sick and tired of this shit.
Our history is full of episodes when we eventually get up from our seat and kick some ass. Personally looking forward to this long-overdue ass-kicking.
If these idiots had any sense at all, they’d be rushing right now to mitigate what should properly happen to them.

  11. “I have not yet begun to fight.” – John Paul Jones, no, not the Zeppelin one.
Shove a fig up your ass, Nancy boy.
English Lit major and a lawyer, really, you think you know about resisting an invasion?
Close down your “Protection” agency, disarm yourself, move to Hamtramck, let’s see how brave you really are.

  12. Dont doubt for a moment Figlitardi has a job lined up and major investments in security companies that want the terrorism to drive a demand for services and hi tech equipment. He should die.

  13. Eff you very much you insipid, delusional arse wipe! You have obviously confused us with others who give a crap about your stupid and dangerous beliefs, namely the euro nations that are in their death throes from uncontrolled immigration. As a retired federal LEO, I am shocked that someone like this traitorous buffoon was even allowed to carry a badge and have the authority to protect and defend our nation from our enemies just as I am disturbed to learn about all the corruption and skullduggery going on now in our federal law enforcement agencies. I can only imagine the further depths they would have sunk had crooked Hillary taken the presidency…we would never have recovered and thank God for Pres. Trump who has at least stopped the bleeding.
