  1. Absolutely. Taking a position on societal issues, no matter which side you take will hoink somebody off and cost you customers. The corporation’s job is to make money for its investors and owners. They shouldn’t be giving away investors money to causes or charities. Make money for the investors and let them decide which charity or cause the individual supports. That includes giving money to parties and politicians.

  2. Maybe she’s a former exec because companies continue to pursue stoopit.

And maybe Companies are right because worrying about consumers is secondary, when Big Business knows that Gangster Government is their existential threat.

  3. Apparently they are using real Denim again.

Roughly 5 years ago the wife bought me 2 pairs of “modern” levi that were stretchy. They were THE WORST. The colour ran on the Blue pair, and both kept sliding down.
I went back to the store myself and at the time ALL the shit was that new type material.
    I’ve Never been back.

They market both. You can still get 501’s. But they market that stretchy shit to the younger crowd. Bottom line is when Levi’s announced they were going anti gun they handed their traditional market to Carhartt.
I got some of those stretchy things a couple Xmas’s ago. My boys wear the same size pants so—-. 501’s are still a decent pair of pants.

  5. How about actually selling jeans that fit men’s bodies? I wore 501s through the 80s and 90s before switching to wranglers for $$$$. tried to buy some levis a couple years ago, and couldn’t find a pair in the entire store that fit. everything in my waist size (34) was made for an anorexic 14 year old girl. I could barely get my calves through the thigh part of the pant leg. Bought more wranglers.

  6. I quit buying Levi’s back in the 80’s when they catered to the homosexuals and gave big money to their causes. The place isn’t much different today, flimsy pants, ridiculous prices, anti gun policies, liberal politics, and charities I don’t agree with. So, just now a former executive is just finding out that woke doesn’t fit
I can buy 3 pairs of Wranglers for the price of one pair of Levi’s
