Former student faces six years in prison for falsely reporting rape, tampering with evidence

College Fix:

Another ‘Jackie’ incident?

A year ago we told you about a Sacred Heart University student who was charged with falsely reporting an incident and “tampering with or fabricating physical evidence” in an alleged rape she reported to police.

Nikki Yovino, now 20, now faces up to six years in prison if convicted of both felony and misdemeanor charges.

Connecticut Post reports she will be tried starting June 18 by two female prosecutors, who met with the judge and Yovino’s attorney Tuesday to set a trial schedule. Jury selection starts June 4.

Police said that three months after reporting she was raped by two football players in a bathroom at a party, she admitted to the same motivation that drove Jackie Coakley to falsely report being gang-raped at a University of Virginia fraternity: MORE

  1. Not only will she NOT due time, she will probably be found not guilty. Clearly you are not “woke” to the new sexual protocol, women can say NO and withdraw consent even after the sex act, depending on if she feels icky afterwards. Hence her attorney stating that she will stick with her rape claim at trial, months later she regrets the sex and ex post facto withdraws her original consent.

  2. And she’ll likely get probation and ordered to see a shrink. If this was a guy (and you could somehow turn it around to for it to make sense) it would be years in jail, marked as a sexual offender, no career and effectively the end of his life but she, because of her gender will likely walk with few sanctions.

  3. Every ‘woman’ like her manages to stain her accused name so bad he has an asterisk attached to it for years or maybe a lifetime. She has to do time so that there’s a mark on her name, too.
