abortion is currently legal. No one is forcing anyone to do anything, with the possible exception of the abortant mother. In some states, abortion is tolerated on the day of delivery. The governor of virginia has even stated that he would entertain having a ‘conversation’ about euthanizing a post vaginal baby. I don’t understand your argument at all.
In our world of today, there is no need for abortion beyond the ‘age of survivability. Nor is there moral justification. Preventative measures are readily available, over the counter and without prescription or even parental approval, for immediate response, following one of your ‘mental regrets of a moments lapse of self control.’ That assumes that an element of ‘self control’ existed.
