  1. I owned a Frank Lloyd Wright copycat home one time.
    Beautiful house with fantastic views.
I knew before I bought it that a flat roof is a mistake – and it was.
It leaked until I put a very expensive rubber membrane roof on it.

  2. Toured one, the built in dinning table was against the chimney, which put your back to the window wall. The built in living room seating ran along the back wall in a straight line, good luck having face to face conversations and the seats were divided so you couldn’t even recline.

The hallway to the guest room was less than 36 inches wide, less than 6′ tall. Good luck getting your suitcase through there. An average size man could barely turn around in the room itself.

All of the paneling was dark, the floor was dark, counter tops black slabs.

That house was totally cold and uninviting.

I’d say FLW had the “little man complex”.
