I don’t remember when I first came across Frank Watkinson on YouTube, but I have admired his haunting renditions of popular songs. I posted a request just after Thanksgiving for a Christmas song, suggesting “In the Bleak Midwinter” (which I ignorantly called “In a Deep Midwinter”). Frank, bless his heart posted his performance of the piece nine days ago. Thanks to YouTube’s lack of notifications I nearly missed it completely. Watch
