Remove “French” from that statement and this could describe every large city (Democrat-run, of course) in the US.
Do they have Sors DA’s over there? Do they have a bias elective body that keeps nominating angry black female activists to the bench (lifetime tenure) who refuse to separate their activism from the rule of law?
I would say that clear-thinking Americans have reached a similar tipping point right here.
