Where is the “fairness” in that?
If some people can elect a raging hypocrite (which is their right, of course) then why can’t we do something so that we don’t have to suffer from its degeneracies? There is no reason on Earth that the whole country – some 330 Million people – should have to suffer his existence (in Congress).
Why don’t we come up with a mechanism, whereby the rational, sane, populations of rational, sane Districts can dis-Elect him?
A nation-wide referendum on his Committee assignments, for instance.
If those idiots want him, they should be permitted to keep him – in their District – not making mischief all across the land.
