George Costanza disrupts meeting with a simple question

I love the race to see who could virtue signal with the biggest gasp after this George Costanza lookalike lobs in his quip.

(And he’s right. The Mexican says it’s the greatest country in the world, yet he’s complaining about how racist it is. That makes me feel like “Greatest Country in the World” translates into “hey, for the amount of money I can extract out of this country I don’t care what is said to me. In fact, the more I complain the more money they lob at me.”)

  1. The Mexican is playing the good lefties like a Stradivarius. Scolding, flattering, preaching.. I wanted to reach in and snap off his wagging, pointy finger. Makes me wo der if his kids are insufferable assholes in school. And on subsidized lunces.

  3. Honestly- ‘George’ asked the right questions, and if I had been there I would further asked; “if it’s the greatest country then instead of complaining about the institutions, why not handle the child that is bullying yours and leave it at that? You can’t speak out of both sides of your mouth.”

  5. Iowa is chocker block full of bleeding heart liberals. They have never had to endure the invasion of third world criminals flooding across our borders into their schools and towns until very recently. They have been safe in their lily-white farms and communities raking in the billions of federal dollars that congress appropriated to shut the agriculture industry up. They think they are morally superior to everyone in other states and can’t understand why we would have any objections to tens of millions drowning us with their culture. I have many relatives in Iowa and lived just across the Missouri River from there for years and went there often. I performed many military funerals all over Iowa in the 70’s and back then you could travel through town after town and never see a person of color. They never experienced living among people of color and don’t know about the challenges along with the benefits that co-mingled races entails. Iowans have always struggled to attain relevancy. To do that, they have chosen to present themselves as enlightened citizens among a sea of lesser beings but they haven’t had the chance to relate to people different than themselves and therefore, don’t seem to appreciate other people’s perspective. They want to be known as tolerant but, just like the gray haired lady, they aren’t tolerant of others views. It’s their way or the highway.

  6. Hambone’s comments about Iowans reminds me of The Music Man, which ripped them as supercilious, closed minded hypocrites. I believe Meredith Wilson was from Iowa so he must have known what he was talking about.
