  22. I’m reminded of an old myth perpetrated by the GOPE to discourage rebellion against their chosen patsy of the season.

    I voted for Perot, and I’d do it again. Had he not waffled and stayed in from the beginning I think he had a decent chance, and he was certainly the best candidate in that years race.

    Every time I say that the GOOPERs whine about it being, my “fault we got Clinton”. When there are zero facts to support that assertion.

    Firstly, in order to swing the election to Bush he’d have had to get a very, very large majority of the Perot votes.

    Secondly, exit polling demonstrated that MOST who voted for Perot voted democrat down ticket, thus indicating Perot hurt Clinton MORE than Bush.

    How anyone could believe that a so called Republican incumbent who raised taxes and left Saddam in office (at the urging of Colon Powell) had a chance of winning is beyond me.

    The Bushes are and always have been globalist liberals, W said he’d have no problem signing an “assault weapons” ban if one showed up on his desk. They are no better than the democrats and possibly worse.

    As Lincoln said, “I prefer my despotism pure, without the base alloy of hypocrisy.”

    they were in office, I find it hard to believe that any Bush would vote for Killary. I speak only of the tweet by Madam Kennedy Townsend, who is obviously a rat or a liar, or both.

  36. Some say Reagan’s biggest mistake what’s trust in Congress with a promise to build the wall if he caved on immigration. I say his biggest mistake was his pick for vice president.
