Georgia election reform bill signed into law

NYP- A bill backed by the Georgia GOP that will overhaul election protocols in the state was signed into law Thursday.

The legislation includes new restrictions on voting by mail, and increases legislative control over elections in the state.

Opponents claim the measure is a needless reaction to former President Trump’s claims that widespread voter fraud in the state lead to his defeat there in the 2020 election.

Georgia — a traditionally red state — narrowly voted for President Biden and two Democratic US Senators amid record-breaking turnout in the last election cycle.

The new law limits the window in which absentee ballots can be requested, and cuts the number of locations and times ballot drop boxes can be accessed. more

  1. Some nutbag Representative from Atlanta, name of Park Cannon, was arrestedcand dragged out of the Capitol as Kemp signed the bill.

Park Cannon…Mom must have been a Civil War buff.

  2. Well, Gee, now doubt Trump feels so much better now.

The solution is not in policing absentee ballots, these by nature are unverifiable and not probative. Removing non citizens (and dead people) off the voter roles, strict voter ID adherence, and more transparency and bi-partisan participation in the actual vote counting.

  3. Dominion hears you.

    Dominion don’t care.

Dominion laughs at your feeble efforts and shifts an additional 23 percent of every Republican vote to Democrat just so it will result in a fractional vote, just so they can be SURE you know it’s fraud and then DARE you to do something about it…

No, corrupt election officials stole the election. There was 15 of the 16 metro counties that had more votes than registered voters.

  5. If there’s anyone out there that thinks this is going to make a difference, you’re sadly mistaken. No matter how many overhaul laws are passed, the Dominion machines and the crooked election workers will continue to do their dirty deeds.
