Georgia: woman gets 12-year prison sentence for $30M COVID-19 scheme

(The Center Square) – A Georgia woman will serve 12 years in prison for her role in what prosecutors called one of the largest COVID-19 fraud schemes prosecuted.

Tyshion Nautese Hicks, 32, of Vienna, conspired with others to file more than 5,000 fraudulent COVID-19 unemployment claims, according to the Department of Justice. The stolen benefits totaled at least $30 million. more

    How often has it occurred to any number of us that given the possible Intelligence to put together any number of the criminal enterprises, perhaps aimed in a “legal” direction might serve them better.

    The hustle and the scam are often available in a “legal” proposition.

    So, is there something missing in the upbringing? That which eliminates responsibility and critical thinking…?

    It’s small potatoes compared to what the pharmaceutical companies received for a phony vaccine and as murderous as her name is, she didn’t kill anyone.
