“Ghost Bird” Get’s Ghosted

The director of Pacific Programs at the American Museum of Natural History, Chris Filardi was visiting the Solomon Islands last month and happened to spy the rarely seen moustached kingfisher.

He was so impressed with the animal that he “collected” it for more study.

Filardi thought he’d made a great discover for science, until social media gave him the “Cecil” the lion treatment.

He claims the bird isn’t rare. The locals have been eating them for years.

  1. Hell rare, I ‘ll give your rare. Here in AZ the nitwits have declared a NM jumping mouse endangered, they have found a snail about the size of a pea to declare endangered. The best one I have two is the Mexican spotted owl witch they destroyed with their forest management that resulted in the Wallow fire destroying 500,00+ acers of ponderosa pine and killing all of the fkn owls. Then we have the greatest of all boondockels, the Mexican grey wolf. Started in 1990 these hand raised dogs have failed to establish themselves. Tens of millions have been spent, maybe even hundreds. No oversight just BS from experts similar to the global warming scammers.

  2. The only TRUE conservationists are conservatives. This POS libstain’s ego justified his actions because he was going to enlighten the rest of the world as to what the inside of the bird looked like for the uninformed masses. Sick bastard.
