Loved both those guys. A couple of pretty good singers, too. With class and always a smile and laugh.
Better place and time
Back in the day of good music.
@Bad_Brad –thanks for the Burl Ives rendition – People often said I looked like Burl Ives but i actually thought it was Mel Torme (I could really lip sync a mean Torme).
I also appreciate Mr. Clark and Mr. Campbell very much. I use to lay under the willow tree with my little am radio tuned to music. All these guys and gals!
I too was transported back in time. My sister and I would sit on the floor (all the furniture was taken by the adults) at my grandparent’s house and watch Hee~Haw. Good family times.
Very scary – – blah! (Roy Clark once borrowed my banjo to play a gig.)
If you don’t already have it, The Outlaws Greatest Hits album has their version of Ghost Riders.
It also includes Green Grass and High Tides among other great songs.
Awesome record.
I have GC’s first all-12-string LP from 50+ years ago. Pure pleasure then. Pure pleasure now.
One of my favorite songs performed by two of the greatest guitarists that ever lived. awesome.
I am back in front of the TV as a child for a couple of minutes there. When playing outside until dark was the schedule we kept.
Glen is playing a smoking lead on a twelve string.
Amazing duo.
Damn. Just like The poster above, I was transported back to my childhood.

Yippee Yo Ki Yea!! My spelling might not be right, but you know what I mean.
Jimi Hendrix will always be the #1 guitarist that ever lived on any “best of” poll because……black.
Maybe the best version ever recorded.

Back when TV was an entertainment venue?
Love it.
Nice!
I only remember Roy Clark from Hee Haw when I was a little kid.
