Glitter Bomb Viral Video FAKE… Fake FAKE…. FAKE

We put the video up because it seemed obligatory, it was so “viral.”

Reader, ECP, was the first to say FAKE.

Watched this a few days ago and have been sitting on the thought. After he found 2 or 3 victims and got his box back, it got suspicious from there forward. Sure, thieves are dumb so maybe the case is I can’t stoop to their level. All I’m sayin is wheels had to be greased to get that thing back that many times and still have it.

I had some suspicion because of a few factors-

– It’s illegal to lay booby traps for unsuspecting thieves. Yes, glitter is for the most part “benign.”  But anyone can sue you, even a thief, if the glitter is inhaled, thrown in one’s eyes, ruins their car, causes them to get into an accident.

There is potential liability.

– Who would volunteer to put the package at their house, taunt the thief, and then publish a video that ridicules them?

Turns out, it’s all staged.

Internet sleuths cracked the case.

  1. I’m so relieved, glad that was all cleared up, swept up and put away. That was clever. But is it just me, that when I think about youth in Asia I can’t help thinking about euthanasia?

  2. Are you sure that it’s illegal to booby trap packages? How about all those people that booby trapped their Trump campaign signs that were being tore down by scumbag Dems? I thought the video was fake the first time I saw it, if these guys stealing the packages were really just common thieves, why would he blur their faces?

  3. Here’s my rule #1 for all things on the Internet:

If I want with all my heart and soul for it to be true, it’s probably not.

(Rule #2 is: If I hate it with every fiber of my being, it’s probably correct.)

  4. The observation that this guy had packages stolen off front steps FOUR times had me seething. Now it turns our We aren’t as casually criminal as they wanted us to believe, so that’s good.

  5. I knew something was off. What kind of criminal has a conversation with the package like that?

He uses iphones? Not just 1, but 4. They ain’t cheap. A real criminal would have put up with the fart spray just to get to those iPhones.

  6. That sucks I wanted it to be true, because I hear my city friends complain all the time about packages being stolen off their porch. Some have created hiding spaces for their mailmen, UPS and FedEx drivers, others have built lock boxes. The problem is some drivers and mail subs can’t follow directions so they leave them out.
One friend of mine has had 4 packages stolen in one week. She put up a camera and caught the woman on camera who stole the last two packages and his part of the story about the police is true, they told her there wasn’t much they could do unless they arrested her for some other crime.
She has now set up with post office to not deliver packages and set up pick up points with UPS and FedEx, which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering online.

Sometimes cops really infuriate me, it gets old seeing videos of people having their storage buildings, businesses, etc. broken into and cops saying nothing they can do unless someone identifies them or they’re arrested for another crime.

  7. A booby trap may be defined as any concealed or camouflaged device designed to cause bodily injury when triggered by any action of a person making contact with the device. This term includes guns, ammunition, or explosive devices attached to trip wires or other triggering mechanisms, sharpened stakes, nails, spikes, electrical devices, lines or wires with hooks attached, and devices for the production of toxic fumes or gases. – https://definitions.uslegal.com/b/booby-traps/

You can chance it if you want, legally. But civilly? Forget it.

A lawyer could sue the crap out of you, especially if it caused you to run into a tree, or whatever.
Remember, being taken to court is the punishment, whether you win or lose.

  8. I hoped this would be true. Brilliant way of getting back. I used to work for the USPS and last Christmas a jerk was tailing me and watching while I delivered parcels. He pulled over and while he was distracted, I noticed he had a USPS tub in his vehicle and numerous Amazon boxes. He wasn’t an Amazon courier – no ‘Rabbit’ on the dash. I took down make/model, plate # and reported it to my Postmistress. Made a special effort that day to ring door bells and hand deliver parcels.

  9. Knew it was BS when the homo obviously didn’t think that spraying ghetto thugs with glitter and fart wouldn’t bring revenge upon him. They would remember where he lived, after all.

  10. Booby trapping your home is one thing but a package is another as long as it isn’t being delivered via mail, FedEx, UPS or etc…There have been several booby trap packages where they exploded and sprayed Crap all over the place an no one was ever sued! No Harm No Fowl!

Don’t leave your name and address on the package and its your word against theirs! And they’re going to sue you.. Let them prove where they got the package in the first place..

“So officer I liberate this package sitting right next to this door at this house right here!”
