Mary Katherine Ham wrote a nice piece yesterday on “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and it had me thinking of the grade school variation called “The Burning of the School.”
The version we sang had these lyrics

Teach hit me with a ruler

Like any good folk song there are hundreds of variations.

In regards to HRC……aka:her royal Cankleness….. I kept having the song by The Knack come to mind. In lieu of “My Sharona” I used “My Cabrona”.
