Reports of violent incidents directed at supporters of President Trump continue to trickle in after Democrat Maxine Waters issued a call to arms that decent Americans should be assaulted for their political beliefs.
Not that the anger wasn’t already percolating before Rep. Waters’ infamous rant, the media has done all that it can to incite mayhem and some like MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch have crossed the line in comparing anyone who supports Trump to the Nazis and implying that they need to be taken out.
This despicable plague of hate descended on South Florida on the Fourth Of July when a patriotic citizen was attacked simply because he had a Trump flag flying in his front yard on his own property.
Boynton Beach homeowner Jeff Good was just relaxing and enjoying the holiday when a car pulled up and a stranger demanded that he take the flag down and denounced the president.
And situations like this are why the 2nd Amendment exists!
Oh the tolerant low I.Q. libtards….
Would any you CC shoot in self-defense, from circumstances you read there?
Start suing these pricks…….

“In his car, as he sped away”
Not even in Florida. Pretty stupid walking up that close to the guys car.
To BB
…unless you got a handful of nails… 😉
I would think you could use deadly force only when/while you are being dragged by the car in this case. Thug crossed over into I’m trying to kill you now.
Toenex
That would be one hell of a shot.
@Zonga, I wasn’t there but yeah, maybe, I was once a fighter, now I am a shooter.
At my age, even if you win an altercation, you still lose.
My property, my person, you can keep the bullet.
Got a .38 in my back pocket and a scattergun over the door.
If I have my shoes on, I’m armed.
If you come to my door unannounced, I’m not stretching, I’m reaching.
Why yes, they are loaded, all guns are loaded, first rule.
He needn’t be a CC, Florida castle doctrine, shoot if he attacks.
“I was in fear of my life.”, he’s dead.
Some people cannot live with that.

To the gun experts, how’s this scenario sound:
Guy like that one is sitting in front of his house, just minding his own business.
Car like that one pulls up. Retard in the car rolls down the window and yells for homeowner to take down the flag.
Homeowner says nothing, doesn’t get up. Just stares at the retard from his lawnchair.
Retard gets angrier, opens car door and steps out onto street.
Homeowner still doesn’t move or speak. He just lifts his shirt. There’s a gun in his waistband.
Retard still doesn’t get it and steps onto the guy’s lawn.
Homeowner draws the gun but does not point it at the retard.
Now assume the retard suddenly gets it and runs back to the car and speeds away. Homeowner continues enjoying his lawn in peace.
Under typical laws, could the homeowner be in any trouble if the retard lies to the cops that he was threatened with a gun for no reason? Homeowner admits showing and drawing the gun and explains why, but insists he never pointed it. Could he still be in trouble?
If there’s a better way this scenario could play out, please explain.
Dem Orcs are out; so keep your
eyes open and weapons handy.

My opinion is you’d be dance real close to that line of brandishing. Here in California we are trained you don’t pull that smoke wagon until you gotta pull it. And then you better use it.
Grool, I’d place my hand on the grip, and not draw or display unless things start going seriously downhill. I wouldn’t unholster in hopes of scaring someone off. That’s just me though.

In most states you can always lean your AR15 against the wall behind you. In plain sight.
I heard….
“fan your jacket/coat”….that should get the proper response.
:-/
He should have had been cleaning his shotgun on his lap while he was having that lively conversation with the retarded gentleman.
@Zonga:
It isn’t clear exactly what happened, but the key piece of info for me was that the flag-flyer tried to hit the TDS asshole (hit him BACK to be sure) through the car window, and asshole drove away with the flag guy’s arm hung up. The window of opportunity seems to me to have closed for a legal defensive use of a firearm at that point.
If you’re asking about earlier in the confrontation, the key question not answered in the article is whether asshole slugged flag guy and then immediately went back to his car. If he did, then, no, use of firearm would not be appropriate because the threat had ended.
“Sure, I’ll take my flag down. Bend over.”
Thank you, gents.
Like I said, I wasn’t there.
I go along with BB, wait, you will know when it’s time because you are making it bark, until then, be ready.
Practice, I have shot a lot of rounds, still shoot once week, maybe, then again, got my own 100M range.
So the moral is the attacker lives and is emboldened to attack another innocent Trump supporter because there’s not a damn thing you can do about it in todays society.
As Zonga said, Why was the home owner in the guys car window close enough to be punched?
Dude was on his own property. Should have been open carry. Probably no story if he had been.
Thanks guys
Already asked and answered…
but…
Still, the home owner f’ed up by getting close enough to give the other the opportunity to punch him. Anyone with sense and carrying ain’t gonna do that. You’re much more intent on AVOIDING the confrontation when you’re “healed.” You know that even if the “law” is on your side you lose (possibly one of my favorites) your weapon, your time and your money defending the outcome even if the DA doesn’t prosecute, the ass hat’s relatives will probably sue you for “wrongful death” or other.
Last resort and double tap center mass with one to the head next…
I’m “Wilber Milktoast” when carrying and not so much when unarmed…
Maybe we need a weekly situational awareness drill here.

Maybe we need a weekly situational awareness drill here.
You crack me up!…
I was actually being serious. What seems basic or elementary to some of us maybe not be so with others. I’m sure you, like I have had the situational awareness stuff drilled into us from classes we’ve taken, etc.
I’m glad to hear you were serious, even though I believed that to be the case. Here in Washington for example, you can get a concealed carry permit simply by having a clean record and filling out the forms, oh, don’t forget the $110.00. fee. But situational awareness discussions would be good for most of us.
Hey Joe. I think you’re in walking distance from Thunder Ranch. If I could, I would attend this guys classes.
https://youtu.be/yVFHdH71hEg
Joe, Walking out of a grocery store at night, it’s not the threat you can easily see. And everyone should slam on th brakes and scan.
Brad, Thunder Ranch is only a 475 mile walk for me. I’ll bet that’s half way between you and me.
Joe, that Clint dudes a legend. Named my youngest Clint. After Walker no Eastwood. A sturdy wrestler. If I can swing it in the next couple months I will meet you there pal. Any other IOTWers, sing out and sign up. I’ll be the good looking guy there. LOL
I’ll be the smart one.
LOL
My bad…
I forget that there are some who perhaps carry without training and without denying anyone the right, there are some who probably shouldn’t. Those in my circle pay attention and are part of that group whose head is on a swivel or when looking at what others do, roll their eyes into the back of their heads.
The FBI dancing dweb comes to mind. Even without proper “professional training” most “should know better” than let themselves get into the situations they do.
Sadly you ain’t gonna drill people with posts on a website like this one and most won’t even take the time to view some of the traning videos that are out there, let alone spend the time and money to actually attend.
See now you got me started! Happily amusing myself reading posts and now reconsidering why my family members need the drilling also…
Not sure if you can train all the sheep…
I’ll stop now…

What you describe is not my goal. And you are correct in what you right. There’s very few gunslingers anymore, but this isn’t about guns. Its about simple situational awareness for the unarmed and older peeps. I know your background. I don’t know you but I can take a pretty good guess. A pistalero. My thing too. We can offer good heads up shit to keep the average person safer. There’s a couple of us here. Lazlo. It’s not a bad idea. What do you personally look for while gassing up your vehicle at midnight?
1st rule and then I have to sign off.
Avoid or think ahead regarding not having to gas up in a bad area or at that time of night. Yeah, I know this is drill, but the first rule for me is avoidance.
Living in what might be considered the “Tony Suburbs” (also not good if you let your guard down – below), far northwest of Shitcago. At this point no occurrences of the car jacking or robberies and other crap common to the city.
Sadly the animals have started to figure out that the pickings are getting slimmer in the inner city or close by areas. So now they have actually started to travel in groups to hit the unawares in two of the high end western suburbs which I guess are better located to expressways back into the city which we aren’t.
Probably our day will come…

There you go. I would only add, Don’t fuel up at midnight people. Head on a swivel. You got it. The column is yours, once a week. LOL. My job here is done.
I HATE having to shoot assholes like this one. So many questions. So much paperwork…
