A hostage situation is brewing in Afghanistan as the Taliban refuses to allow planes filled with Americans and Afghan allies to leave the country, according to a Republican congressman.
Texas Rep. Mike McCaul made the revelation during an appearance on Fox News on Sunday.
“We have six airplanes at Mazar Sharif Airport — six airplanes with American citizens on them as I speak, also with these interpreters — and the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now. The state has cleared these flights and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport,” he said.
“They’ve sat at the airport for the last couple of days, these planes, and they’re not allowed to leave. We know the reason why is because the Taliban want something in exchange,” said McCaul, the ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. read more

However many days that is, that’s my bet.
I’ll take the Jan. 20 2025 cycle.

Biden was not legitimately elected. He is not, and will never have been President. Just because the Democrats and Republican establishment installed him in the White House that in no way confers legitimacy on him.
Take the cost to fix it directly out of the democrats infrastructure bill and not added to it.
I attended a very well attended Labor Day parade Saturday that the local Democratic Party usually marches in. Not only were they absent from the parade, their booth at the County Fair was conspicuously absent as well.

Whatever the Taliban wants it will get from Biden. I believe things are worse than imagined in Afghanistan and big tech is helping the current administration by filtering evidence. Whatever Joe does now will come back to haunt him.
