Good. Trump should focus on illegals in California so he can bankrupt the these commies via expensive legal fees. I can just see productive citizens flee like rats off a sinking ship. The only industry left will be Hollywood and then even they will start complaining when it hits THEIR pocketbooks.
Defend them from what? If illegals commit a state crime, they are already entitled to a public defender if they qualify. If illegals commit a federal crime, is California going to assume the role of a federal pubic defender? And if they are subject to deportation, is California going to jump into federal deportation hearings on behalf of illegals?
I’m sure California will find a way to piss away millions of dollars on nothing – they are well practiced at this – but this is just a Democrat grandstand ploy. One thing conservatives believe in is due process of law, and we extend this to people illegally in this country.

On whose authority does he get to spend my money on citizens of foreign countries? It sure stinks like treason or malfeasance at best. I wish we could sue him to enforce the laws on the books.
