Grade School Assignment On The Contributions of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula Doesn’t Go As Teacher Planned – IOTW Report

Grade School Assignment On The Contributions of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula Doesn’t Go As Teacher Planned

This is from my 12 year-old nephew who was given an assignment on the contributions of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula.

The writing that follows is from his heart and mind.  Based on the teacher’s scoring (last page), 30/65 or 46% was his grade on the assignment.  Personally, I think he deserved a 95% with -5% for lack of neatness.  The truth must have infuriated the teacher.

Note that there was no other comments from the teacher on the actual substance of his report.

I am regarding this “F” as a win for my nephew;  a win because he is not falling for the indoctrination of the ‘Benefits of Islam’ as taught by his school.  God Bless Him!

For the record, I had no idea he was given this assignment and I had no part in influencing the content of that paper.

If a 12 year-old can see through the bullsh!t being shoved in his face by the schools, why can’t the American people?   -Tsunami

This is a partial transcript of the full assignment, which I believe was the reason for the failing grade. The other sections of XXXX’X assignment talked about the advancements in agriculture and irrigation after Arab’s began digging wells and tapping ground water. -bfh

In 613 C.E. Muhammad began to teach Islam. With Islam and Muhammad’s teaching, the world fell into peices. For example, ISIS is because of Muhammads teaching, the decapitation of journalists in Syria/Arabian Peninsula. In the book they talk all laddy-dah, & “Oh Muhammad and Muslims are good people.” No there not good people, you know how I know, its because I watch the news. I watch “Fox News” channel 360 or 19. Thats where you want to get the truth about Muslims and Muhammad. What the book tells of is just a big lie. The reason ISIS kills other Muslim is because the other Muslims don’t follow the true writings of the Karan.

Muhammad made his living as a merchant. I 610 C.E. Muhammad went to pray in a cave in the mountains. There he got a call to the Prophet, or messenger of god, who the Arabs call Allah (satan).

Call me a cynic, but I don’t think this received an F because of the grammar.

If someone threw their assignment through the window of the school, on a brick, as long as it praised Islam it would get a passing mark. – BFH

  1. As a certified teacher and mother of three I congratulate you and your family for raising a kid like that. This child makes me so happy. Wonderful ! He’s a brave lad.

  2. I give the kid an A because he understands what is going on now, that Muslims are currently purifying their religion by slaughtering other Muslims that are not authentic.
This point is lost on 99% of the people in this country.

  3. @ Tired Mom,

Thank you, I will. I love him very much.

I can’t wait until I attend his parent / teacher conference and confront the teacher with “why 46%?”.

Another funny anecdote: The school principal once asked me (the caring black sheep uncle) and his mother (my sister) what we did as positive reinforcement to motivate my nephew to do better in school. My response, “we take him to the range and let him shoot his uncle’s AR-15 and 9mm semi-auto”.

The look on the principal’s face was stifling, which is to say it was priceless.

  4. @TSUNAMI

Thanks for posting a comment so I could tell who “Guest” was.

With all the I, I, I’s and not knowing who, who, who was saying it was frustrating, to say the least. No point of reference to start from.

What a great story! I can’t wait to hear of any follow up.

My first thought about the question of the contributions of Islam in the Arabian peninsula was about the grade of 30/65 46%.

    Those are Arabic numerals.

Until I either look it up or someone here who already knows says otherwise – I’m not so certain Islam had anything to do with that, though. So anything about turning the people into ruthless wannabe world dominators would do.

This is one more piece of evidence that a wide swath of politics is already under the tent of Islam. It’s only stealthy if you’re not looking.

  5. This is awesome Tsunami! I am so proud of your nephew for standing up to that teacher and the lies being shoved down American school children’s throats! And hear! hear! for his parents that taught him right from wrong! And Islam, Mohammad and Allah are DEAD wrong! This kid deserves an A+++!

  6. Congratulations on a young man who gets “it”. The “it” that islam is a scourge on civilization and they have not done anything notable for quite some time. All one has to do is turn to the history books and read the few pages of positive influence dispersed among the countless pages of atrocities. If islam is so great why are they suppressing half their population (women)? What is so great about their “religion” whose sole dictate is convert or be killed? Finally, why must I be counseled to be tolerant of a stone age mentality cretin who won’t recognize my right to exist?

You should be proud of your nephew – he can teach a lot of people a thing or two.

  7. I want to thank all of you who commented on my nephew’s report in a positive way.

    You literally made his day.

For a young man to see that there are other people on this planet who feel the same way towards Islam as he does really made a deep impression on him. You should have seen his face light up.

….and he gave me a huge hug, too.

Thank you again from both of us.

  8. I’d have to ding him for using ‘there’ when he should have used ‘they’re’ but other than that he dared to have an opinion which apparently did not comply with the goals of fascist indoctrination. He gets an ‘A-‘ from me for telling it like it is and not backing down. ( I have to take off for that one grammatical error )

  9. Public school or private school? Since when do they teach about “religion” in public school?
Where’s the “Fairness Doctrine” in school? The question should’ve been “contributions by religious groups”, not kowtowing to one!
