  1. I’m having trouble figuring out if I am looking at the photo of a reader or one of those stupid pop-up ads! Am I supposed to be looking at the guy with the jeep, the Asian woman looking for old guys in my area, or the woman piercing her own ear? I need another drink.

  3. Clues: Definitely a western state, but no front plate narrows it down to Arizona or New Mexico. Not a Willis jeep, but AMC CJ-5, so the photo is Post-1970. Guy is way too skinny to be Brad. That’s all I’ve got.

    Louisiana? Diogenes

Well that was a stupid guess. My apologies Diogenes.

  5. I saw the gun so I immediately thought of bad_brad. But then that swampy hint doesn’t make much sense then does it?
[does it mean that this person lived in Florida at some point?]

  6. Moose forage in swamps, so it’s “a non a moose”.

Then, there is lots of mud in a swamp, so could be Joe Mudd or muddjuice. If I was smart, I’d go with willysgoatgruff’s choice of muddjuice, but then, I never cheat off of another’s paper during a test.

Sticking with my first choice, “a non a moose”.

  7. Definitely NOT an 870 (pump) could be 11 …. So Bayouwulf, which is it? Remington or Browning?

  8. It was me! This was in Gila Bend, AZ where I was stationed from 79-81. The Place was called Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field then and is now called Barry Goldwater Gunnery Range. The bombing range was 2.7 million acres in size. The story of the pic is that me and another Airman went on a camping/hunting trip near Hat Mountain (no relation to Fur) on a weekend. Several folks identified the firearm correctly. Browning Auto 5, Light Twelve, Belgian manufacture. I still have it. We carried guns because it wasn’t wise to be in the desert without one. Kinda like Chicago, except everyone carried a gun then. And nobody thought any less of it. The way it should be!
