  7. When Texas passed an anti-carjacking law, it was less than 24 hours before it was tested. When they tried to carjack the driver, the driver shot him through the door.
    When punishment is instantaneous, there is less crime.

  8. You’ll notice he hasn’t gone up the stairs yet. EVERYONE goes before the Lord for the Judgement, but most are not invited to stay with Him.

    “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
    2 Corinthians 5:10

    “10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

    11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

    12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
    Romans 14:10-12

    So regardless of what you say or do in the world, we all may very well wake to a view like this as our first view on the other side.

    But for those who did not kneel to the Lord in life, the memory of this view will only increase the pain of what’s to follow after they are judged.

    Those who stand before Christ are His . Their sins have already been judged when He hung on the cross. They have received His free gift of eternal life. It will be their works that will be judged.

    Those who reject Jesus will stand before God in the last judgment and their eternal abode will be the lake of fire.

    14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
    15 And if fnanyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

    Your name is written in the book of life when you accept Jesus as your Lord.

    Those who are alive at the end of Jesus’ 1,000 year reign will live forever as humans because death has been cast into the lake of fire and they will eat from the tree of life. That was God’s original plan for Adam.
