8 Comments on Guy Does 1964 Version of Beatles’ “Last Song”
I am impressed. I have listened to the original over and over again since it came out and it has grown on me to the point that I think it’s brilliant.
This sounds fresh and upbeat, just like them in 1964.
Oasis never sounded so good. Someone is having fun with Al.

oasis version sounds like it’s the theme song to James Bond Never Say Now and Then.
1964 version is way better than original- if you unfollow my meaning
Meh, I just cant set my hair on fire about this.
When the Beatles ended their last Beatle recording session with “And in the end” .. That was perfect. People ought not mess with perfection 54 years years after the fact
Beatles and Stones were the phenom that they were because of what preceded them, which aside from Elvis and Buddy Holly, was mostly crap. And all of this fell on the ears of super impressionable KIDS. We aint kids anymore. I have a older sister (by 2 years) who has twin grandaughters who are now TALLER THAN SHE IS!! Its a different world

We can go deeper. Now and Then if Oasis covered it.
