Guy Keeps Loaded Gun On Couch Next To 3 Year-Old and She Shoots Herself With It

He just has a loaded gun laying around.

DM-

This is the chilling moment a three-year-old girl accidentally shot herself after picking up an unattended gun in a Florida home.

Serenity had been sitting on the couch next to a relative who was watching football when the incident occurred on Saturday, surveillance camera footage shows.

She was transported to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where she underwent surgery before being released from the hospital on Tuesday and returned home where she is now recovering, according to the girl’s grandmother, Robin Fuller.

Fuller posted the video on her Facebook page, captioned: ‘Video of when my granddaughter shot her self at her OTHER GRANDMA HOUSE.’

Orlando Young, a 23-year-old relative, was arrested in connection to the unattended gun at the home. Young is now facing charges of child neglect resulting in great bodily harm. He was released from jail on bond Tuesday night.

  1. Do you remember Eddie Eagle?
The NRA character was in books and cartoons teaching children about firearm safety for children – Find a gun? Don’t touch. Go tell an adult.
Of course, the libtards had to destroy the NRA.

  2. Well Loco, the first thing you overlooked is the gun was left unattended, out in the open, on a couch accessible by a 3 year old….Hell, for all we know she could have racked a round in and fired it in .07 seconds like you. But if that makes you happy to play the martyr as you are want to do…then do it….

  3. My point Willys, was that having one in the pipe *at all times no matter what* is not only unnecessary, it can be dangerous.
I was pilloried by the usual suspects.
Fact is, I imagine a ton of concealed carrying patriots wholeheartedly agree with me.
You aren’t ALWAYS in danger are you?

  4. Cracker, I never said “never” have a round chambered.
If you are in a dangerous situation, then certainly.
If someone feels they are in danger 24/7 and are not in a war zone or war city, a cop, security guard, etc. then I feel sorry for them & their loved ones.

  5. No Loco….you manipulated this particular scenario to fit your narrative on your last hissy fit….The simple thing is to keep your gun unloaded if you don’t think your “in danger 24/7 and are not in a war zone or war city, a cop, security guard, etc.”……Once again, you want to play the martyr….

  6. Loco….Ignorant? or a very witty sarcastic remark?…..and……..the child could not have pulled the trigger unless the gun was kept in the open on a couch, unattended, with easy access by a 3 year old….(see my first comment and try to keep up)….schumck…..The bailiff is done abiding….

  7. Loco…What did you not understand?…an unloaded handgun is a rock…An unloaded rifle/shotgun is a stick or can you yell PEW PEW PEW load enough to defend yourself from a potentially dangerous situation. If that’s the case then just point your finger at the violent offender and yell PEW PEW PEW…..LOL….

  8. LOL Loco…Moving the goalpost is your speciality….unloaded and one not in the chamber is just about the damn thing. Unless you can rack one in in .07 seconds like you…..I think you should stick with PEW PEW PEW….OK, That’s enough….

  9. I’m trying hard to think of an analogy just as ignorant as “unloaded and one not in the chamber is just about the same damn thing.”

How about a car with an empty gas tank is just as worthless as one with a full tank?

Yep, makes about the same damn sense…

  10. As I’ve said many times in the past –
We don’t have a gun problem in this country.
    We have a culture problem!

Shoot yourself or someone else at 3
Learn to hold the gun sideways at 6
