You are right about people living in fear. Waaaayyy too many people, waaaayyy too much fear. I still see people driving solo with masks on, people in the store with mask AND clear shield on, some even with gloves. People giving wide berth to those not wearing a mask.
At the height of the “lockdown” last year, I saw a lady in a store almost trying to press into the shelves of merchandise because someone (with mask on) walked the wrong way down the one-way aisle. This needs to end, NOW!

I blame the employer by telling employees to confront people who aren’t wearing a mask. People are already on edge, don’t like to be told what to do by any peon minimum wage earner, tatted up, nose ring and purple hair. @RickeyG: Things have lightened up here (in my county in CA). Many are not wearing the diaper, no one pays attention to the 6-ft crap, which aisle to walk up and down in, people stop and talk to one another. People being people for a change. Don’t lose your humanity over this crap. Live the way your have all along and ignore anyone who tells you to put a diaper on your face. I’ve been approached (just recently), in WalMart. When you tell them to “Fuck off” they get the incredulous look on their face like you stabbed them. I did – verbally. Shocked that a little ol’ lady like me would answer them back. 🙂
