  1. “Remick is no stranger to technology. The feds say he is a senior technology specialist at Middlebury College.”

How much ya wanna bet he knows Humper, both are pedos and Democrats and do stupid $hit on their puter.

As for the hacker, I’ll give him a pass.

  2. I wonder if the perv will be able to claim “fruit of the poison” tree and get the whole thing tossed by a court?

Can police use illegal gained information if they aren’t the ones doing the illegal act?

  3. The “hacker” was probably a cop – maybe FBI.
And he probably put the filth on the computer – classic GESTAPO sting.
Have to find out what they’re shutting him up about.

Nothing’s what it seems – at least where the cops are concerned.

I just broke into this guy’s house and while I was going through his desk drawers to see if he had any cash stashed away in there, I found some meth.” “…an illegal handgun.” “…proof that he’s running a gambling operation.” “a set of plans for the Capitol building.” …some kiddie porn”…

The way I understand it is the enforcers found a way around that problem a long time ago. Once they know something to be (probably) true but don’t have admissible evidence, they just keep their focus on the perp and investigate the legal way until they have another path to the evidence they need.

In this case, it could be (but I’m just guessing here) that they found some way to convince a judge they had probable cause to look at the computer and got a valid search warrant that way.

Sneaky bastards. That’s not to say I’m anything but glad they nabbed a kiddie diddler.

  6. The “hacker” could have loaded the porn. If it’s digital, it’s suspect.

If any computer has been connected to any network that has any connection to the internet, you are at the mercy of those that understand the protocols involved in network connected devices.

Your phone is not a network connected device. It is a part of the network, and that is not negotiable. Kiddy porn can be loaded on your phone by a dozen government agencies, you’ll have no idea it’s there before you’re up in front of a grand jury.

Makes them dumb ass flip phones that can’t even text look better by the day, yes?

  7. When Hitler deposed and executed the SA leaders who helped him to the top when he consolidated his power, he used the unsubstantiated allegation in many cases that they were found in bed with a boy, to make sure they has no sympathy and so there was an excuse for summary execution.

Democrats are a lot like Nazis, so look for more of this, and more often as the Devil’s time gets shorter..
