Half of Miami, Fort Lauderdale gas stations without fuel as Florida recovers from storm

JTN: About half of all gas stations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale do not have fuel Thursday while Florida recovers from massive storms.

Petroleum companies are making round-the-clock fuel deliveries and problems at the pump are expected to decrease, Broward County, where Fort Lauderdale is located, tweeted Thursday morning.

Southeast Florida received nearly 26 inches of rain in six hours last Wednesday, sparking the fuel shortage, The Miami Herald reported.

Patrick De Haan, head of the gas tracker at GasBuddy, said at noon Thursday that 49.4% of Miami and Fort Lauderdale gas stations are out of fuel, as are 29.1% of West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce gas stations. MORE

  2. If you have had to buy Lithium Double AA batteries in the last year, you know. Just here to tell you again. In advance.

    They are counterfeiting batteries now.
Wouldn’t it be funny, and ironic, and in advance . . .
They will start putting holographic sticker pics on the label to prove ‘authenticity’.

A 4-Pack of Lithium AAs are almost $20. Plus local, city, state and Federal Tax on top of that.

$5+ for One Double A Battery

Do you know how SMALL a Double A is?
Do you UNDERSTAND NOW how BIG the Batteries are in EVs.
    Think about That
And They don’t let you replace the batteries on your device
You only have to buy a new one
And you all are forced to do it

    It’s so convenient, isn’t it?

  3. 26 inches in 6 hours is stellar. In 2017 we had 12 inches in 12 hours. Cows floated away, 500 gallon LP tanks disappeared. People disappeared. Houses disappeared.

They just found some skellingtons a few years ago from that storm.

  4. I do so love this standard going forward.
Any & every single problem lands at the feet of the guy at the top.
They must go to the site and do the physical labor in person.
They can’t delegate to the literal THOUSANDS of motherfuckers that work in government under them.

Of course some leaders absolutely SUCK at delegating.
Some, ahem, will allow a lifelong bureaucrat like Tony Fauci take over their entire fucking presidency.
