Nearly two years after Hamas’s attack on 7 October 2023, the group has agreed to release all the hostages in response to Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan. On Friday night, the militant group released a statement online announcing they supported Trump’s plan and were willing to release the 20 living hostages – and as many as 28 bodies of hostages – who were kidnapped during their attack on Israel. In the statement, which Trump reposted in full on his Truth Social account, Hamas said it was prepared to do so “according to the exchange formula contained in Trump’s proposal, and as the field conditions for the exchange are met”…

Given that Hamas’ entire existence is aimed at the total annihilation of Israel, they may come to the table but they will never, ever, sign anything of mutual accord.

Didn’t read the whole article but I somehow believe they want fresh hostages in exchange of the old, used hostages they have. And replacement of the non-breathing with breathing ones.

Why did Isreal pause? They should utterly decimate hamas such that nothing remains. Earn those who would do the same the consequences of evil.

So Israel isn’t being stupid. They know that Hamas must cease to exist.
Any break from the the battle, be it cease-fire or negotiations and Hamas will use it for re-loading!

I don’t know if disarming Hamas will change what’s in the hearts and minds of the Palestinian people and their culture of hate.
Trump wants to end the killing. Hamas wants to kill all the Jews. Israel has a strong ally in the president, but it must be allowed to survive on its own terms.
They’re not going to release any hostages because they’re likely all dead already. The assholes are just playing for time and lying their asses off to do it, like they always do. Netanyahu should drop a mini nuke on those fks.

I would think Hamas needs to be armed to protect them against their fellow Palestinians, who would probably no hesitate to murder them all if given half a chance now.
I expect Hamas to play things out to force Israel to kill as many Palestinians as possible while blaming the IDF for protecting themselves against Hamas terrorist.

Israel has given into demands in the past only to have Rock attacks, 1000s of rocket attacks, bombings, Murders and rape.
An accord signed By Hamas will never be adhered to as long as Israel exists.
When will the Nations realize satan is the father of deceit and deception. Hamas is a muslim tool used by satan to corrupt and to destroy.
Any and all financial support to Palestine must end from the Arab word, EU, UN and the US. Release Hell on Earth, Hamas must reap what they have sown.
