Nine students attending the Eagles Nest Elementary school in South Carolina have been suspend for possession of what is calling “happy crack,”Kool-Aid laced with sugar.
“Administrators at the district office say possession of any substance, whether illegal or not, that looks like an illegal substance is a violation of a school policy.”
I thought this was an OpEd about Huma, Oh silly me.
That’s incredible. We had this stuff back in the day that skipped the mixed with Kool Aid crap and was straight colored sugar in straws that we ate like…well candy. And that was just to ease back down from the high we had going all day from Goobers, Chuckles, Charleston Chews, Dots, Heath bars, 3 Musketeers…
Tough call. It’s a harmless substance. It glorifies drug use. It shines a light on the culture of today.
My generation had candy cigarettes and bubblegum cigars. And Mt Dew was the moonshine equivalent. Go figure?
Oh no! Pixy Stix addicts. Give me F-ing break.
I think it wuz snorting it thru a rolled up hundred dollar bill that had them concerned…
Taking drugs is a vice. Vices are not crimes.
Suspension seems over the top for something that should be resolvable by shaming, only not a lot of people left in our society that can be shamed into appropriate behavior anymore.
Reason enough (like you needed one more) to exit the Public School system.
Private School or Home School. Not only do children receive an excellent education and independence, they will not be exposed to the politically correct Educational Neurosis thrust upon them by the State and Federal Governments.
No more bug juice for these kids. When I was the Navy in the mid 70’s we had plenty of strawberry koolaid and I still drink it. Good thing these snowflakes were never exposed to the artificial sweetener in cyclamates which were banned years ago because they were carcinogenic. Who didn’t love the Pillsbury artificially sweetened drink mixes like Goofy Grape, Jolly Ollie Orange, Rootin Tootin Raspberry etc. They were so sickenly sweet that they automatically caused cavities and gave you diabetes just because but boy did we drink the stuff.
Kids can get that shit anywhere!!! What do we do? what do we do???
Do they still sell Country Time lemonade? That stuff was great. Tang made my teeth hurt. lol
“And that was just to ease back down from the high we had going all day…”
LOL! MM. So true. Hilarious comment.
Leave it too the left to warp the meaning of drug abuse. If coffee was crack then every Starbucks is a leftist’s favorite crack house.
So no more Oregano in the kitchen, huh?
