Over 30 Harvard University students went on a 12-hour hunger strike in support of students at Brown University who didn’t eat for eight days to push their administration divest from companies with connections to Israel.

There was a First Nation (Canadianese for “Native American”) in Canada who, as a protest to get more money so she could live higher off the hog while her people continued to live in poverty, went on a hunger strike and lived in a tent a few years ago. Her hunger strike included meals so she could maintain her strength and she lived in a tent so people could take photos of her brave stance but slept in a ritzy hotel at night so she could be well rested in order to continue her hunger strike.

A 12 hour hunger strike is basically skipping breakfast. Impress me: Only drink water for 2 weeks. I’ll even let you have a daily multi- vitamin. Most people can live for 16 to 20 days without eating. Four days without water could kill us
Pansies!
Their hunger for knowledge could not be denied.
