Has Pocahontas Delivered Trump’s 2020 Campaign Commercial?

Elizabeth Warren is the frontrunner for the democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

Here’s what she said about Trump’s tax cuts.

“…the current tax reform isn’t simply bad policy, it’s just delivering one gut punch after another to hardworking people.”

Here’s the Washington Examiner musing a bit on her statement-

let’s play a little imagination game and jump ahead to May 2020.

Supported by an alliance of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., the donor class, and the liberal intelligentsia, Warren has just secured the Democratic nomination for president.

Then comes the nationwide Trump ad buy.

Booming and bombastic Superman-style statistics fill the TV screen:

“40 months of sustained job growth and real wages up $5,000 over 2016.”

“GDP growth up from 2 percent to 4 percent.”

“Unemployment down from 4.7 percent to 4 percent.”

“Inflation holding low and steady.”

We jump to a clip of Trump addressing a jubilant rally: “They said it couldn’t be done, but we are making America great again! And together we are going to so much more, like you can’t even believe!” the president roars.

A rising image of Elizabeth Warren fills the screen. The narrator speaks solemnly, “Some never believed it was possible. Here’s what Elizabeth Warren said President Trump’s tax reform would mean for your wages.”

We jump back to Trump at his rally. The president, perhaps with a reference to “Pancake Pocahontas,” offers a blistering rebuke of his opponent and says, “That gut punch felt pretty good, right?”

The screen fades out with the Trump-Pence 2020 logo: “Let’s make America even greater!”

!snip!

Trump will win in a landslide if the economy is roaring in 2020.

  1. I was just musing today about the Congressional Republicans creating a bill to provide orphans with puppies and kittens and the D’s raving about how heinous it is to give orphans puppies and kittens.

I have a feeling that POTUS Trump will be spending even less for his campaign in 2020 — if that is even possible.

  2. …and the liberals in congress will be gnashing their teeth as the economy gains steam during the next few quarters while they face a tenuous 2018 election.

    Pay attention, Schumer!

  3. I’m curious how all the dems can stand listening to the constant barrage of negativity spewed from people like Warren. It never ends with the sky is falling rhetoric. If they want to understand why Trump enjoys such popularity they might pay attention to his uplifting and positive messages.

  4. OK, it doesn’t make sense to you and me, but we’re not their target audience. It’s the younger generation that they are trying to indoctrinate with their propaganda campaign of disinformation. Listen to Prog radio and you will hear them tell their audience that the Reagan years were “horrible” and “devastating”. “Nothing good ever came from tax cuts”. Reagan was a buffoon, etc, etc. They’re pulling almost 30 year old crap outta their collective asses and telling the younger generation that this is how it was! They are trying to re-write history with complete lies, but that’s what propaganda is and that’s how we know how dangerous the Left truly is.
