Breaking 911: Jacksonville, FL– A federal jury today found Brian James Holland (23, Jacksonville) guilty of aggravated sexual abuse by force. Holland faces a maximum penalty of life imprisonment and a potential lifetime of supervision.

Having 2 daughters, it is easy to sit behind a keyboard and say something like “If that had been me and he had done that to my daughter, I would have done [insert violent and righteous act here]”, but reality is not quite so cut-and-dried.
However, that being said, both my daughters had experiences with abusive males….including physical abuse that I knew about but could neither prove, nor get either one of them to confirm. So, I told them to their face that if/when I could prove they were being hit/physically abused, I would point blank kill him. Each of them knew I meant it 100% and was NOT kidding.
Fortunately, both of them eventually left that relationship and now have very loving spouses.
Any male can be a father but it takes a man to be a dad. A real man/dad protects his family.

So, according to the article, there were 2 other witnesses in the hot tub at the time he molested the girl? WTF? And they didn’t do anything? Were they by any chance British?
What were the two passengers in the hot tub with them doing at this time? Watching? Did it have to take the girls informing her parents for the Captain to find out and act? I wish the story had stated whether these two were adults.
I’d have cut his throat on the spot and had Gopher dump his corpse in Puerta Vallarta.
