12 Comments on Heart Singer Ann Wilson, 74, Reveals She is Battling Cancer
A club you don’t want to belong too. I mentioned the other day a gym rat buddy that I had not seen in a while. Down about 80 lbs, weak and pale as hell. That tell tale 1,000 yard stare. The guy works in a pretty big construction firm. In the office. The jab and boosters were a condition of employment. He tells me there’s 12 people currently out of the office fighting one form or another of the evil disease.

She’s got to lose weight, or she’ll never make it to 80.

I played the game Risk with her, Nancy and Cameron one night a long time ago. Every so often the sisters would break into song or a few seconds of harmony. It was a fun, family evening at home. I haven’t seen her for awhile and am sorry to hear of her illness.
Almost Famous 🙂

@AA That’s an amazing story! How cool!!
She was a performer in Teatro Zinzanni (dinner theatre meets Cique du Soliel in a vintage circus tent is the best way I can describe it) years ago when the production was in downtown Seattle (before it was a hellscape). She stood and sang right by our table. It was the most incredible sound that I ever heard. Indescribable the power and emotions of her amazing voice.
Get well soon Ann Wilson! A Seattle treasure for sure.

I will say a prayer for her.

Always loved them ladies. Saw them in concert way back in 78 I think.

Best female vocalist in R & Roll. Saw Heart in concert way back in 77 I think. Prayers for you Ann, get well soon !
I saw them for free in Central Park when their first album debuted. I got in trouble for going, but that’s another story.

‘This is merely a pause. I’ve much more to sing, Love, Ann Wilson.”
…may your words here find God’s ear that He may make them true.
‘Respectfully, this is the last public statement I’d like to make on the matter.’
…I truly do understand what you mean by this, but I pray that these words are NOT true.
We need one more public statement from you about your cancer, Ann Wilson.
After the Lord grants you full and complete healing from it.
May the Lord bless and heal you of this scourge of satan, you and all that suffer of it. May He guide the hand of your doctors as the Ultimate Physician, guard you from the side effects of chemotherapy, and allow you to present yourself very soon as a testament to His healing touch.
The disease is great but God is always greater, and to His Mercy and to His Glory we pray,
Amen.
God Bless,

That sucks. Have always liked the sisters. Saw them once many years ago at Nelsons Ledges if I remember right up in Ohio
