  1. If my home is broken into the middle of the night, first thing, I try to keep my German Shepherds quiet because I want them well inside when the shooting starts.

Thinking about that, that’d never work. A pin dropping gets them going. Probably the best thing a burglar could do is start unwrapping some cheese slices.

But still, who ya gonna call? Rule of Life, NEVER call the cops.

  2. Funny how some in the media and even old Joe are starting to realize defund the police is not exactly a message that resonates with the majority of people. But the radicals are not going to dial it back. And meanwhile Trump will proudly run on law and order. But Biden is 14 points up, and who exactly believes that?!

  3. What are the odds the end result of this is gun confiscation when enough robbers of color are shot dead breaking and entering? After all, that’s not fair.

  4. The men in my small town and surrounding areas can pick off a coyote or raccoon at 100 yards behind a wood pile, but the biggest threat rioters, looters, thieves would face is the ladies of the Methodist church with broomsticks after their angel food cake fell because of the noise….

  5. I live in a small community on the Nevada frontier. You can bet if there are ten people in a local restaurant they have 14 concealed weapons.

  6. I go thru, at a minimum, of 1200 rounds of 9 mil a month. Things were getting sporting finding it, but turns out there’s a commercial reloader in the central valley who’s flush with it. Dirt cheap too. But the major distributors are allocated out of 9, 45, and 40.

  7. These people are freaking NUTS. They would have the entire city burned down in two weeks under this agenda.
It’s time to admit that all Minnesotan’s are not social drinkers.

  8. I don’t kneel or call 911. After my dogs get finished and depending on how much was left I’d probably just plant him in the back forty.

The only privilege I may exhibit would be an epitaph, Stupid is as Stupid Does.

The Nevada Frontier is on our short list for relocation. We will be checking it out this summer. The political climate driven by Las Vegas has me a little worried though.

  10. Brad, we are checking pahrump. Extrrrrremely conservative. From its local radio and tv to the monthly magazine pahrump times. Zero to little zoning, modulars next to 500,000 homes. 40k people or so. Downside is it is only 45 miles from vegas

  11. One of my clients owns a LPTV station in Pahrump and I’ve spent a bit of time there over the years – strange place!

Gotta love it when the brothel owner wins the election 2 months after assuming ambient temp!

Frontsight academy, Fireworks and Brothels – what’s not to love?

  12. Notice the woman never answered the question but turned it into “If you call the police, you’re just using white privilege.” That’s damn racist, like she thinks all blacks are criminals who are afraid to call the police. Who does she think reports crimes in all-black neighborhoods?

She better hope she doesn’t manage to disband the police. Laws are just scribbles on paper if they’re not enforced, and the only thing stopping a lot of people from committing crimes – or permanently removing criminals – is law enforcement officers enforcing those scribbles.

  13. The Front Sight Academy and Steve Reichert have been in a war of words over Front Sight teaching it’s students to shoot Weaver Style, which they don’t deny. I think they’ve labeled Modified Weaver. Which if you watch some of their videos is bull shit. They are bladed as hell. Just sayen, if you are thinking about attending Front Sight I’d do some research. You won’t get through most the drills at other schools/classes shooting Weaver. It’s not going to happen.
This has been a Public Service Announcement by Bad_Brad.

  14. @ B_B ~ which stance do you prefer? I use a Modified Weaver, as it is more comfortable & more relaxed for me, enabling me to hit my target better … my son uses an Isosceles & he’s a much better shot than I am (he’s military trained), but he’s been better than me since he was 12 … lol

  15. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

Basically Isosceles. And I say basically because when you start shooting and moving and even laying down and shooting from your side or prone there’s two things, well three, that you focus on. Grip, sight pick, and trigger control. And all the rest of the shit they spent time teaching all goes out the window. But a static Weaver you can’t rotate to your weak side.
And believe me I feel your pain, I’m an old guy that grew up nothing but Weaver. And I could drive tacs Weaver. But if you’re going to get into the IDPA type shooting, it won’t work. It took a long and frustrating time to get switched. But it is worth it. There’s a lot to shooting a pistol properly. It’s a challenge and a lot of fun learning.

  16. @B_B ~ what you’re sayin’ makes good sense to me … particularly moving to your weak side w/ the Weaver. I’ve tried the Isos w/ moving to the weak side, but several crushed vertebrae & a busted pelvis make the movement more awkward & painfully less fluid

at this point in my life I think I’ll be better serving in the second line & covering your six 😉

… & you are absolutely correct … there is a lot to shooting a side arm properly … & it’s a hell of a lot of fun just keeping up w/ one’s skills
