Here’s the litmus test on NO BIAS claims on the part of the corrupt FBI and Its Apologists – IOTW Report

Here’s the litmus test on NO BIAS claims on the part of the corrupt FBI and Its Apologists

What if texts were uncovered from a high level FBI agent that reassured a concerned former FBI lawyer that read, “we’ll stop Hillary from becoming president,” and then Hillary loses in a stunning upset? Would the IG report be the same?

Would there not be, at the very least, a recommendation that the FBI take the day off, like Starbucks, and have bias sensitivity training?

More likely there would be recommendations for mass indictments going all the way up the food chain, and someone would be a victim of Arkancide.

I guess because Trump won there should be no cause for alarm? The FBI’s bias doesn’t work on Trump, is that it?

  1. Simple watertight logic but no one infected by the Left will hear it, for the same reason so many mentally ill up and decide to go off their meds after a while. The emotional highs of investing yourself in TDS is just too fun to give up. Identity politics run deep.

  2. [Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Page texted Strzok.

“No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it,” Strzok responded.

I guess it all depends on what the meaning of “We’ll stop it” is.

  3. Isn’t it ironic the 5 FBI agents and Lawyer #2 named in the IG report were never leaked? Oh, and they will remain unknown throughout the lengthy internal investigative process.
Wray commands integrity be restored, and that includes revamping the Leak Dept.

  4. In two weeks this “report” will be relegated to the National Dog & Pony Show archives filed in between the Benghazi and IRS matters. It’s clearly time we move on and let the nation heal. /s

  5. Litmus test?! That’s the problem right there! The “litmus tests” are those that have been cooked into the book — the laws and “policies” that protect all these gov’t liars and crooks from being judged by any normal standard of behavior. Instead of the tripwire of justice being set within tolerances dictated by the same standards of justice and common sense to which those outside gov’t are held, it seems obvious (to me, anyway) that it is whatever *they* say it is. And from what we’ve witnessed for the past decade, apparently nothing the federal Administrative State does is subject to ANY kind of standard AT ALL! Not a single one of those rat bastards who clearly broke the law have been escorted to the parking garage and their security credentials revoked. We have a HUGE problem with an unelected Administrative State octopus otherwise known as The Deep State.

The FBI, in its earliest history was once proudly known as the Untouchables. Today the name still fits but for a very different, and reprehensible, reason.

  6. Federal officials, and particularly law enforcement officials, should be held to a higher standard than ordinary citizens. But as these episodes play out, it is apparent that these officials, including Clinton, are held to such an impossibly low standard that they cannot be held accountable to anything.

For example, your computer has child pornography on it. When questioned by the FBI, your defense is “I don’t know how those images got on my computer, I’m technically incompetent so I couldn’t have done it, I didn’t know that child pornography was illegal, and I’m not even sure how that computer got into my house.” Good luck mulling over how that defense worked during your stay in prison.

But the FBI let Clinton and others off the hook on those same grounds. “You didn’t really understand any of these criminal things? O.k., go home and have a nice life.” These people are claiming that these corrupt officials are the best and brightest, although they can’t figure out criminal or unethical activity or understand the consequences of their actions.

The IG obviously couldn’t ignore all of the criminal/unethical activity undertaken by the FBI and the AG’s office, and the IG shouldn’t ignore the damage these officials have done to these agencies. The IG should hold higher officials accountable in an effort to restore confidence in these agencies instead of lowering the culpability standards below what is expected of private citizens in order to let the guilty off the hook.

  7. @Wyatt — That, sir, is the most lucid and perfect example I’ve seen. You should send that comment to Sessions, Wray, Ryan, McConnell, and all the chairs of the oversight committees. Seriously, you should.

    Oh, and POTUS.

  8. When you break the law to stop Evil ™, Shoe-On-The-Other-Footism does not apply.

And Paul Ryan or Trey Gowdy step up to defend the law breaking in 3, 2, 1….
