Ulez [ultra low emission zone] vigilantes have attached bat boxes to cameras to deter engineers from fixed them in the latest push back against Sadiq Khan’s expansion of the clean air zone.
The animal homes, which cost £10 each, have been spotted in Chessington, Kingston upon Thames and North Cheam.
Bat species are protected under law, so it can be an offence to disturb their homes. More
I’m sure any judgements against Khan’s removal of the bat boxes will result in crickets, as the only ‘environmental’ groups recognized are tied to the global warming effort.
Great try though!
I’m going to go out on a limb and assume the cameras are government property and protected by law also.
de doan be likin what the sad-dick be doing?
Bats are natural to that area and cameras aren’t.
Good old British ingenuity.
It’s this level of ingenuity that mocks the repeated, “You would need an F-16.”
