Horrifying Moment Car Hits Mother and a Child in a Stroller in New York City

dm-

  • Cops in Queens pulled over driver Wednesday for questioning, but he sped off
  • Motorist then plowed into three people, including a mother, 28, and a baby girl
  • A 35-year-old man standing in the road was also sent crashing to the ground

The police ran to the victims, and the driver sped off – his car was found abandoned in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, but the driver has not yet been apprehended.

‘He actually pushed the child out of the way – he’s a hero, the guy who got hit,’ said witness Carlos Lopez, who took video of the incident.

‘He was very concerned about the child.’

All three people were taken to hospital: the man suffering from leg injuries, and the woman and child with only minor scrapes.

The mother injured her knee, and the child hurt her wrist.

  1. I’m just amazed that nobody got seriously hurt! In a city where crime is out of control and largely unpunished justice for this POS driver needs to be swift and sure!

  2. That’s what an actual hero looks like.

Yes, that word gets thrown around a lot. But I’m guessing even our Brad, who has a heroic son of his own, would agree with me in this particular instance.

No duty, not his job, he had no expectation of having to do anything out of the ordinary today and acted out of instinct without regard for himself or consequences to him, and without any expectation of reward or consideration of punishment.

And this in a city famously known for its selfishness, its aloofness, its cynicism and lack of humanity.

    He
    Just.
    Did.
    It.

May God bless that man, speed his healing, and reward him an hundredfold for his spontaneous heroism. And may the Lord provide us with many more such and may he stand as an example of how men should act in a crisis, as we will need men of action and courage in the coming dark days in this Democrat-ruined land.

And may we take heart ourselves that God has not withdrawn His Spirit from this land yet.

For no such man could exist if the Lord had truly turned His back on us.

Thank you God for this man. We pray for him, and that you may strenghten us all to be like him.

And may we share in Your Blessed Assurance that no harm can ultimately befall us if we believe on You, as a moment of pain will be followed by an eternity with You in Your Paradise.

“38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
    Romans 8:38-39

And that promise even a Democrat cannot corrupt.

    God Bless,

  3. And the police shifted their priorities as they should. Preservation of life takes precidence over pursuit. They can acquire that person, for good or for bad, somewhere else at a later time, although it is very unlikely in NYC that he will spend any real time in jail for this, or any, of his crimes as he is doing what his Democrat masters approve of.

No, the pursuit was pointless, the victims were not. That could have been far worse, and certainly looked like it was. Bless those officers for having the humanity to understand that innately as well.

“Cops obviously got a good look at the motorist..I wonder why there was no description of the perpetrator who they are trying to find?”

…I posted something regarding an incident in Cincinnati where shots were fired at a large, unruly crowd by members of the crowd in a Black neighborhood in front of a Black bar at 0130 in the morning, and the only description anyone got from the media was “The shooter had a White shirt and dark pants”.

They did catch one guy, but only because the cops, WHO WERE ALREADY ON SCENE, shot him. Otherwise, you’d have a WHOLE lot of people to call Crimestoppers about that fit that description pretty well…

  5. Soon they’ll be naming cars after gun makers: “The Revolver” “The AR-15” “The Pistol” “The Bullet”, you get my drift. A car may as well be a gun, either one will take you down.
