Missouri-based Bass Pro Shops is donating the use of more than 80 boats to aid in search and rescue efforts in areas ravaged by the flood waters of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey.

A group of Houston bakery employees stuck at work for two days due to flood waters in their area spent their time wisely by baking hundreds of loaves of pan dulce bread to ease the hunger of fellow victims, a report says.
Mattress Mack Opens Up Houston Furniture Stores to Displaced People and Their Pets:
Most parents who visit furniture stores with small children spend time keeping the little ones from jumping on beds or spreading out on couches.
But Houstonian Jim McIngvale is welcoming the bouncing and the spreading at his Gallery Furniture stores in Houston, Texas where he has opened up his stores as shelters for people displaced by tropical storm Harvey.
McIngvale, whose Twitter handle is “Matress Mac,” opened up two stores as shelters and people can also bring their pets.

move forward?
Donate them to charity and hope for the tax break.
